余鹏副教授，西安交通大学学士和硕士，新加坡国立大学机械工程系博士。曾任新加坡国立大学研究员，悉尼大学博士后研究助理，新加坡科研局旗下数据存储研究所、高性能计算研究所科学家；2015年10月回国任南方科技大学力学与航空航天工程系副教授，硕、博士生导师，入选深圳市海外高层次人才“孔雀计划”（B类）。
主要从事复杂流体流动方面的研究，现已发表SCI论文130余篇，H-index为24，2022-2024年连续三年入选美国斯坦福大学“全球前2%高被引科学家榜单”。先后主持过国家自然科学基金委面上项目等16项；作为核心成员参与广东省重点实验室等项目8项。已授权发明专利18项，实用新型专利20余项。
