Xin ZHANG is currently an assistant professor at Southern University of Science and Technology. He obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees from Honors College and School of Aeronautics at Northwestern Polytechnical University, respectively, and Ph.D. from Interdisciplinary Graduate School at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He continues to engage in post-doctoral research at Nanyang Technological University thereafter. His research interest lies in solid mechanics, impact dynamics, mechanical properties of fiber reinforced composite materials, multifunctional composite materials and other research fields. More than 40 journal papers were published in top journals in the field such as J MECH PHYS SOLIDS, INT J PLASTICITY, COMPOS SCI TECHNOL, APPL PHYS LETT, etc. We seek applications for researh assistant professor, postdoc position, Ph.D student, master student, and research assistant. His research interest lies in solid mechanics, impact dynamics, mechanical properties of fiber reinforced composite materials, multifunctional composite materials and energy absorption structures.
