Associate Professor
Shi-Di Huang had his undergraduate study at Fudan University, majoring in Physics. After obtaining his Bachelor degree in 2009, he went to the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) to pursue his Ph.D degree and then worked as a postdoc. in CUHK after graduating in 2014. He joined Southern University of Science and Technology in 2017 and now he is an associate professor (tenured). His research covers a wide variety of topics, including turbulence research and its applications in engineering and physical oceanography, dynamics and statistical behaviors of active matter (plankton, micro-robot, etc.), and non-linear dynamics.
